Features Of The Visa:

This visa is for international students who have recently graduated from an Australian educational institution.It lets you work in Australia temporarily after you have finished your studies.​​

It can last from between 18 months and 4 years depending on your situation.

This visa is for international students who have recently graduated from an Australian educational institution.

This Visa Has Two Streams:

• Graduate Work stream is for international students who have an eligible qualification and who graduate with skills and qualifications that relate to an occupation on the current Skilled Occupation List (SOL). Your visa is valid for 18 months from the date of grant.
• Post-Study Work stream is for international students who graduate with a higher education degree from an Australian institution in Australia. You can complete any field of study. If you are a recent graduate and if you had applied for, and were granted, your first student visa to Australia on or after 5 November 2011, then you are eligible to apply for this visa. Depending on your qualification, you could be granted a visa for up to 4 years.

Who Is Eligible ForSkilled Nominated Visa (SUBCLASS 485)?

Supporting evidence must be provided at the time you lodge your application. Requirements for this visa include:

• you must be younger than 50 years of age
• you must hold an eligible visa
• you must have included in your application evidence that you have at least competent English
• you must meet the Australian study requirement in the last
• you must meet health and character
• you must have health insurance in
• you must meet the specific requirements of the stream in which you are applying visa.

Eligiblity Criteria For Nominated Skilled Visa (SUBCLASS 485)

• Applicants must satisfy the two year study rule (within the previous six months) through the completion of an Australian degree, diploma or trade qualification.
• At the time of applying you must hold, or have held within the previous 6 months, an eligible student visa. You must be under 50 years of age at the time of applying.
• You must be able to nominate an occupation from the Skilled Occupation List and this occupation must be closely related to your studies.
• You must have ‘competent’ English if you nominate a professional occupation or 'vocational' English if you nominate a trade occupation.

Graduating students are able to remain within Australia for up to 18 months to complete a post- graduate professional year, to gain Australian work experience or to increase English Language skills.

You can include the following people in your visa application:
